Hand Therapy & Evaluation
Hand therapy is the evaluation and treatment of injuries and conditions of the wrist and hand. It uses a number of therapeutic interventions to help return a person to their highest level of function. Such conditions include:
- Boutonniere Deformity
- Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
- CMC Arthritis
- Cubital Tunnel Syndrome
- DeQuervain Tendinopathy
- Distal Radius Fracture
- Dupuytren Disease
- Extensor Tendon Injury
- Flexor Tendon Injury
Trigger FingerStenosing tenosynovitis is a condition commonly known as “trigger finger.” The tendons that bend the fingers glide easily with the help of pulleys. Trigger finger occurs when the pulley becomes too thick, so the tendon cannot glide easily through it.
